A Sunday Pause

There's something magical about the moment you realize your truest adventures are discovered in the simple act of following what makes your heart feel alive. Maybe it's the way morning mist dances over mountain peaks, or perhaps it’s the thrill of having an encounter with a wild animal. It might be something quite simple, like quiet conversation with that special person, or how coffee tastes different when you're watching sunrise paint the sky. Maybe it's the sound of waves meeting a shore, or the feeling of a cool breeze blowing on your face as the day begins.

These aren't just escapes they're homecomings. Every winding coastal highway, every quiet beach, every hidden trail, every wild animal, every rugged wilderness road, and every mountain ridge line becomes a conversation between you and the world. Nature doesn't ask you to be anyone other than who you are. It simply invites you to breathe deeper, think clearer, and remember what peace feels like.

So when life offers you the chance to trade your routine for a road less traveled, to swap your schedule for spontaneity, to choose wonder over worry, say yes. Because the best version of yourself is often waiting just around the next bend, beyond the next mountain, at the edge of the next shore, or anytime that you’re ready to be it.

I hope you can feel how the quiet, tender moments of your day hold the most peaceful kind of beauty. The soft glow of the fading light, the stillness in the air, and the whispers of the night remind us to slow down. It’s in these moments that the world feels softer, and our hearts feel lighter. May you find comfort in the calm and see the beauty in the simplicity of it all.

Today, remind yourself of the quiet power you hold. It comes with the courage to begin again, no matter how many times you’ve stumbled. Each new start is a testament to your resilience. Speak kindly, not just to others, but to yourself. Your words shape the world you live in, and no one deserves your compassion more than you. Remember, progress isn’t about perfection, it’s about showing up, trying, and doing your best. Celebrate the smallest victories, because they are the building blocks of something extraordinary. Take a moment to honor how far you’ve come, even if the road has been messy. You’re working hard, growing stronger, and becoming more of who you’re meant to be. Keep going. The world is better because you’re in it.

To all of you; be kind to each other and follow your passion. Therein lies a purpose that comes with a meaningful Grace. No matter what the circumstances are in life, keep moving forward, the best is yet to come. If you’re struggling out there, reach out for help, there are folks who care and a lot of resources available that can help one find their way back to stable ground. You are worthy!

I wish each one of you, all the best! ~ Terry

Note: We had a remarkable month roaming around Alaska in our River Wild Camper Van (https://www.riverwildcampervans.com/ ). It was a great set-up that offered us comfort and reliability. Carolyn, at River Wild was an excellent hostess, extremely friendly, and easy to work with. Our van, named TIQ’A, took us over varied terrain while offering a home on wheels. It was a great experience! Below are some random photos that offer a glimpse of “The Last Frontier”. Of course, the pictures do not do it justice. The beauty here is magnificent and the wilderness beyond humbling.
